    NYC Nightlife
NYC continues to expand it's nightlife for tourists, however this doesn't mean that locals and travelers alike do not have a wealth of choice when it comes to entertainment at night. Many of the most famous Jazz musicians made their name in NYC and as such it is pretty famous for this genre of music. There are some of the best and exclusive dance clubs in the world. If you want to go somewhere to find a nice comfortable place to sit and drink and listen to music, there are a lot of lounges and New York has plenty of places. It does not matter what age group you are in NYC carters to them all, they have huge concerts with well known musicians, and the comedy clubs where famous comedians call home.

My friends and I thought we would spend a long weekend in New York, so after arriving on Friday evening at the hotel we decided to get the weekend started with a bang, we had heard of a night club called 'Ace Of Clubs' so thought we would go there. It did not seem to be what we were looking for. The music was really loud and the drinks cost a lot, although I'm sure many people would love it for a big night out. We decided that we wanted to find something else so we went back to our hotel.

On the way into the hotel we asked the woman at the desk to recommend an nightclub and she told us to check ploose which I guess is some new NYC nightclubs directory that was super easy. When we typed in New York City nightclubs and it showed us a bunch on the map. There was one pretty close to our hotel which apparently had drink specials on at that moment so we decided to head there. We watched a couple of videos tours so we knew what to expect and when we got there it was exactly like they showed on ploose. When we got there we got us a table ordered a bottle of grey goose and had a great time. "The Pink Elephant was the name of the nightclub. After enjoying the night we went back to our hotel for and went to sleep.

The next day we decided to do some sightseeing, so we checked out 5th avenue, walked around Manhattan, going into a couple of restaurants for lunch, and by the time night rolled around we were tired. Thanks to our busy day (and heavy night before) we opted for something a bit calmer that night, we looked on 'ploose' again and found a chilled lounge near our hotel to go to. The lounge bar is named 'Sapphire Lounge'. The decor impressed us, it was very relaxing and gave the impression that you were just chilling out in your own front room with friends. The red curtains were great! There was this hip DJ there playing some house music and the prices were very reasonable. All in all it was a really great place and I recommend you go there if you get the chance.

It was Sunday and we wanted to find us a sports bar and watch some football, so we ploosed again. The closest one that looked best to us was called 'Proof NYC' so we gave it a shot, it turned out to be a great decision. The TV was wonderful, it was so big the game looked great on it, it was taller than me and I'm not short. With scarlet walls and a lovely hardwood floor the bar itself was more than comfortable to hang out in. With numerous beer specials on that night and a great match to watch you can only imagine what we got up to. We were enjoying our last day in New York City, we ordered food and sipped our drinks.

We didn't want to call our last night in NYC and end too soon so we went to 'Blue Note' a pretty popular Jazz bar to finish the night. Let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life, the bar was wonderful and if you are into Jazz I cannot recommend it enough. The musicians were outstanding, the bar itself wasn't too crowded and was wonderfully decorated.

In other words New York City has a VERY wide selection of entertaining things to do. When we go back to NYC we are going to check out the Opera and Broadway and will let you know the best.

Have a great time in NYC and stay safe.
